... find creative and energetic people to get involved with my own 'big ideas'

My last big idea was inspired by...
... the beauty and vulnerability of the regenerating bush in the valley around my home and the way that it responded to a helping hand. We now have a neighbourhood conservation group - the Kaitiaki of Newton Reserve - who have a working bee monthly to tend and plant. We have also negotiated a formal agreement with Auckland City to have responsibility for caring for the Reserve and in return be consulted by Council on any developments in the Reserve. We really welcome helpers from the 'mainland', so give me a call if you'd like to join us for a day planting, even occasionally.
